This dictionary was heavily used by the client’s father. But the spine was pretty run down. As she did not want a restoration, but a repair so that it would not deteriorate any more, I made a substitution of the spine for one with brown-gray fabric, which was more neutral.
The condition of the old spine was so precarious that I did not put it on top of the new spine as I have done on other occasions, and I gave it to the client.
